LAWSON STREET & MITCHELL STREET OVERLAY PROJECT The bid for this Project includes all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and services to perform a roadway pavement overlay and other miscellaneous items as further shown, described, and indicated on the Contract Documents. The work shall be completed within thirty (30) working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Documents for this project and any addenda issued thereto, which are on file at the City of Sumas, 433 Cherry Street, Sumas, Washington, 98295. The proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Contract Documents. Questions regarding technical issues and the bid process are to be directed to the Engineer (Tony Freeland, PE) at (360) 650-1408, tfreeland@freelandengineering.com. The City of Sumas expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. liquidated damages and agrees that liquidated damages shall be $100.00 (US) for each and every working day
