CLASS 5 MODIFIED GRAVEL STOCKPILE Erie Township will be accepting bids to produce a Class 5 modified gravel stockpile of approximately 5,000 yards. The modification shall have a requirement of not less than 9% of the material shall pass the 200 screen when tested via the sieve analysis method. The produced stockpile shall be purchased by Erie Township at the contract bid price. This shall be a separate stockpile to be used by the township as directed by the Board of Supervisors. The location of the stockpile shall be determined by the successful bidder. Yardage to be determined by weight on a certified scale at time of production. A factor of 1.4 tons to be used as a cubic yard. Sieve analysis shall be performed by a State of Minnesota Certified Inspector at time of production at required rate of testing. All material incorporated into the stockpile shall be from material sources that are currently certified to be used, certification shall be by the person or persons responsible for material sources under their jurisdiction. Applicants shall have liability insurance with a minimum of $1.23 million. pfront costs shall be the cost of the material in stockpile and the crushing cost, will be paid by Erie Township upon completion of production of stockpile. Based on weighed known quantity of approximately 5,000 cubic yards of CL 5 modified material.
