The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor(s) to furnish and deliver Sodium Bisulfite 40% Aqueous Solution on an as needed basis for use at the Lee County Utilities Department. All products shall be provided exactly as specified herein. Any variations shall not be accepted Sodium Bisulfite shall be tested and certified as meeting specifications and those of the American National Standards Institute/ National Sanitation Foundation Standard 60 (ANSI/NSF Standard 60), Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals Health Effects. Vendor shall be responsible to inform Lee County that NSF certification has been revoked or lapsed within 24 hours of the time supplier receives verbal or written notification. Loss of certification shall constitute sufficient grounds for immediate termination of the contract. Sodium Bisulfite 40% Aqueous Solution - Annual All products shall be provided exactly as specified herein. Any variations shall not be accepted. It has been determined that the specifications and scope of work within this solicitation are adequate to describe the product or services being requested. A pre-bid conference and site visit has not been scheduled for this solicitation. The County has an Agreement in place for such services set to expire on 11/12/2022. The Agreement associated with this solicitation will therefore not become effective until 11/13/2022 or soon thereafter. Should the existing Agreement be terminated prior to its expiration date, the County reserves the right to enter into Agreement with the Vendor prior to 11/13/2022. The County reserves the right to reject any or all materials, if in its judgment the item reflects unsatisfactory workmanship or manufacturing or shipping damage. The vendor shall refund, to the County, any money which has been paid for same.
