Division of Water Resources. Modifications to a rock berm in the Great Salt Lake causeway breach. The purpose of this IFB is to enter into a contract with the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to provide: services to raise the breach invert berm in the bottom of the breach channel by approximately four feet to further cut off and reduce the flows of the high salinity waters into the South Arm. Work will also include armoring the north side of the raised invert berm with large riprap. The procurement item will be the contractor's services to furnish and place rock materials in the breach channel, as identified in the drawings and specifications. The estimated amount of rock needed is 450 to 500 cubic yards. This contract will result in one contract award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible bidder. The contract resulting from this IFB will be for FIVE (5) years.
