Contract No. 10 includes the collection of solid waste and recyclables from approximately 7,055 Pick-ups from one, two and three family homes in the Town of Dewitt. The scope of work also includes specific municipal facilities in the Town. The Contract will run from July 4, 2022 through July 3, 2023. The contract also includes (three) one year options for additional work to be let at the discretion of the Owner. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is Avalon Document Services, 901 North State Street, Syracuse, New York 13208. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents online and may also obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the online The Owner is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all containers provided to residents, materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check, cashiers check of the Bidder made payable to the Town of Dewitt, or Bid Bond in an amount of $ 25,000.00. Town of Dewitt reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to re-advertise for new Bids or to waive any informality in connection with any Bid.
