Cascade Union Elementary School District ("District") will accept bids for nine (9) separate contracts for the construction of A New Admin. & Multipurpose Facility. These contracts are as follows: Demolition/Sitework (License A) Concrete (License C8) Rough Carpentry (License C5) Kitchen Equipment (License C38) Finish Carpentry (License C6) Roofing (License C39) Doors/Windows (License C17) Acoustical Ceilings (License 61/D50) Painting (License C33) ("Contracts") at Meadow Lane Elementary School. The contracts consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to install the scope of work as described the contract scope of work. The district plans for the project to start on July 18, 2022, and to be completed by August 11, 2023. To bid on these contracts, the bidder is required to be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations and possess the State of California Contractor License as defined in the bid package. The bidder's registration and license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the contract. Bid Bond: An amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid dollar amount is required to be submitted with each bid. This is a prevailing wage project. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if awarded the contract for the work. DVBE Participation: The minimum DVBE participation percentage (goal) is 3% for the solicitation unless another percentage is specified in the solicitation. The successful bidder may substitute securities for any monies withheld by the district to ensure performance under the contract, in accordance with the provisions of Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code.
