Renovation of a medical facility in Prince George, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Upgrading Chemistry machines and automation line at the UHN lab. Renovations are required to accommodate this new equipment. The HVAC system will be upgraded to meet new standard for lab air exchanges. The work to be undertaken generally includes the following: 1. Phase 0 - Minor demolition and renovation of the existing Lab Chemistry, located on level 0, to permit for large equipment temporary relocations and to install a new corridor double door. Phase 0 must be completed prior to the commencement of Phase 1 demolition to allow for the relocation of lab equipment. 2. Phase 1 - Demolition and renovation of approx. 160 sq m of the existing Lab Chemistry, located on level 0, for the installation of the new Siemens Atellica. Phase 1 will require mechanical upgrades that will include scope on level 0, level 1, and level 2. Phase 1 demolition and renovation on level 0 can only begin after Phase 0 is completed.
