Renovation of a mixed-use development in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,000-square-foot medical facility; and medical facility.
Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, transportation, and supervision necessary to renovate approximately 12,000 square feet of the existing nutrition and food service kitchen in accordance with government-provided drawings and specifications. The work includes construction labor and supervision for mechanical, electrical, fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, telecommunication, and other tasks required by the plans. Temporary trailer lease or fabricated modules will be needed to house cook prep, tray assembly, and dishwashing operations during construction. All work must comply with the latest JCAHO, NFPA, OSHA, and life safety requirements and be performed without disrupting medical center operations. The period of performance is 540 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Location: G.V. Sonny Montgomery VA Medical Center, 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39216.
