Number: AC-NHPP-G-130-1(184)E This project is located in Dorchester County, Maryland, near the Town of Vienna, and includes the full replacement of Small Structure No. 09002X0 on US 50 Carrying Tributary to Otter Pond Branch. The existing structure is a battery of three 34"+- high x 50"+- wide spiral-seam corrugated metal pipes with end sections used to convey the Tributary to Otter Pond Branch under US 50. The existing structure will be removed and replaced with two 53" x 34" precast Horizontal Elliptical Reinforced Concrete Pipes (H.E.R.C.P) and precast concrete end sections and a precast Type-K concrete inlet placed in the median. Construction will be done in three stages, with at least one 11-foot lane maintained in each direction throughout the project. Additional work includes full-depth paving and milling/overlaying to provide a smooth transition to the existing roadway, placing riprap channel protection, placing W-beam traffic barrier and trenchless installation of pump around method of dewatering. This work will be performed with an accelerated construction schedule to avoid impacting summer beach traffic. An incentive/disincentive is therefore included in the project. Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre-Bid Conference has not been scheduled for this Project Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB).
