Milling of 9,500 SY +/- of Existing Road Surface Installation of 9,500 SY +/- of Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course, 2" Thick Installation of 800 LF Bituminous Curb Installation of 800 LF Concrete Curb This project is funded by the NJDOT, and the successful bidder must comply with the 'Buy American' Requirement, along with all provisions of NJAC 7:22-9.1 et seq., for economically disadvantaged individuals (SEDs), and comply with the Project Plan developed by the City of Woodbury fulfilling the SED Utilization. All blank spaces in the proposal, except as otherwise noted, must be filled in; and no change shall be made in the phraseology of the proposals or of the item mentioned. All information that may be requested of the bidder in these specifications shall be included with this proposal. All erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form shall be initialed or signed by the bidder. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the City Solicitor and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-33; "Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c.127"; N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1963 C150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act); and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et. Seq.). The Contractor is notified that he must comply with P.L. 1977, c. 33 and submit a Disclosure Statement listing Stockholders with his bid. The Contractor is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1999 c. 238 Public Works Contractor Registration Act and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with this act. The Contractor must also comply with P.L. 2004 c. 57 and submit proof of their New Jersey Business Registration and a copy of the Certificate for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms provided, in the manner designated therein. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and labeled "FY2022 Local Roads Resurfacing and Safety Improvements Project" and shall be addressed to the "Clerk, City of Woodbury". The Owner reserves the right to reject any and or all bids, to waive any informality, or to accept the bid, which in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Owner.
