2024 Road Rehabilitation - Rio Lindo Avenue - From Esplanade to Cohasset Road City of Chico 2024 Roadway Maintenance Rio Lindo Avenue Plan, Sheets 1 through 8, prepared by the City of Chico, 411 Main Street, Chico, California 95927. Rio Lindo Avenue from Esplanade to bike path crossing: The existing pavements in this portion of the roadway proposed for rehabilitation were observed to be in a relatively poor condition with visible block, transverse, and longitudinal cracking. Pavement damage consisting of settlement and spalling was present around underground utility manhole covers. Rio Lindo Avenue from bike path crossing to Cohasset Road: The existing pavements in this portion of the roadway proposed for rehabilitation were observed to be in a relatively poor condition and consisted of severe alligator, blocking, transverse, and longitudinal cracking. Potholes were present in numerous areas of the roadway; the potholes were approximately 0.5 feet in diameter. This project requires the payment of prevailing wage rates to be paid to members of each craft or classification performing work on this project. All questions and requests for information regarding the project must be submitted through Public Purchase on the project link. Responses to questions will be distributed to plan holders via Public Purchase. Questions and Requests for Information must be submitted five (5) business days prior to bid opening. The work, in general, to be done at this location consists of potholing utilities at locations identified in the plans along Rio Lindo Avenue, documenting the utilities, backfilling the potholes and restoring the surface.
