2022/07/14 03:00:00 PM EDT THE JACQUES CARTIER AND CHAMPLAIN BRIDGES INCORPORATED, a legally constituted commercial corporation, having its head office in Longueuil, province of Quebec, established by the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority Act and acting herein as agent of Its Majesty in right of Canada and exercising the powers (hereinafter referred to as the " Owner "), invites you to submit a bid for Contract No. 50143 / Melocheville Tunnel, work crew and equipment for maintenance and repairs (2022-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the " Agreement "). This Contract consists, in general, in providing, at the request of the Owner, labor and equipment specified in this estimate to carry out day, evening and night various works and other related services as part of the general maintenance program for the Melocheville tunnel located in the municipality of Beauharnois . The Special Sections of the Bidding Documents (Section 0 Notice to Contractors , Section 3 Special Administrative Conditions and Section 4 Special Technical Conditions ) for the Contract can be accessed via "Merx" Private Markets at https://www. , at the following costs, which are payable by credit card directly to Merx: for bidders who do not have a subscription giving access to the Owner 's tenders on Merx: $60.00 per tender for downloading the Tender Documents, as well as $4.95 / per month, $2.00 per tender and $0.12 per page for automatic delivery of addenda by email;

Procurement strategy: lowest compliant bidder. This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 Government Procurement of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and Chapter 19 Government Procurementof the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement. When required, the minimum fees related to Cognibox are $800.00 before taxes per year. The tenderer may visit the premises by himself at places normally accessible to the public. Submission of a bid constitutes an affirmation that the bidder has read all of the Bid Documents and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth therein. The bid must be completed using the Bid Book provided by the Owner and be signed. To be eligible, the tender must comply with the Tender Documents and be accompanied by the guarantee prescribed therein. Bidders are required to submit onlythe Bid Book; the other documents are provided in order to indicate the contractual conditions to the successful tenderer. The unit price submitted for each designation of work or materials shall correspond to the actual cost of such work or materials. If, in the opinion of the Owner , these prices do not represent the actual costs, the Owner may reject the bid. No submissions received after the above closing date and time will be accepted. The time of receipt of tenders will be deemed to be the date and time indicated by the stamp affixed by the Owner to the tender envelope. However, the Owner will not penalize the bidder whose bid is received after the closing date and time if the delay is attributable solely to the Owner . The Bidder may submit its bid in either of the two (2) official languages of Canada. The Owner undertakes to accept neither the lowest nor any tender, in particular if the Ownerdetermines that it is not in the public interest to award the Contract .
