DBE goal for this requirement is 20%. Metra in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 43 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Subtitle A, Part 21 (Non-discrimination in FederallyAssisted Programs of the Department of Transportation) issued pursuant to said Act, hereby notifies all Bidders, that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this Invitation, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit Bids in response to this Invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability, in consideration for an award. Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to Jennifer Zellers, Senior Contracting Agent via E-mail at jzellers@metrarr.com by 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 7, 2022. This RFP may be subject to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) pursuant to financial assistance agreements with said agencies. Proposers will be required to verify they are not on the Comptrollers Generals list of ineligible contractors.
