Sealed bids will be received for the Sanitary Sewer System Improvements, CDBG No. 21p-x-046-2-6234, at the City of Unadilla, 363 W Railroad Street, Unadilla, Georgia 31091. The work under this Contract will consist generally of the following: The construction of approximately +- 1658 LF heavy clean and TV existing sewer main, +- 32 VF existing manhole rehabilitation, +- VF 4' Pre-cast diameter manholes, +- 1492 LF 8" Cured-in-place-pipe, +- 126 LF 6" to 8" pipe bursting, DR 17, +- 1652 LF 8" gravity sewer main, +- 37 8" x 4" service connections, +- 2010 LF sewer service laterals, +- 496 LF 6" SDR 21 PVC force main, +- air relief valve, +- 1 termination manhole, +- 899 SY class "A" pavement removal and replacement, +- 74 TNS 9.5 mm superpave asphalt resurfacing, +- 1800 LF silt fence, +- 1 construction exist, +- 111 CY gravel for trench stabilization, +- 4000 SY temporary grassing, and +- 0.8 AC turf establishment. No bid will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City of Unadilla prior to the time set forth above, and accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, payable to the City of Unadilla for 10 percent of the amount of the bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the bidder fail to enter promptly into a written contract and furnish the required Payment Bond and Performance Bond and Insurance Certificates.
