The City of Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development (VBED) is receiving requests for qualifications for two annual service contracts from qualified firms to provide a range of planning, urban design, engineering, and parking services for various potential projects to support strategic development initiatives. The City of Virginia Beach Reserves the Right to Accept or Reject Any or All Bids/proposals in Whole or in Part and to Wave Any Informalities in the Bid/proposal Process and Reserves the Right to Enter Into Any Contract Deemed to Be in the Best Interest of the City. The Specifications in This Bid/proposal Are Intended as a Quality Indicator and Guide for Your Bidding/response and Unless Otherwise Stated, the City Will Consider Alternate Bids/proposals of Equal or Better Quality, Which Shall Be Accompanied by Descriptive Literature. The Entire Contents of This Invitation to Bid/request for Proposal, Any Addenda, and Bidder's/proposer's Response Shall Be Incorporated Into Any Resulting Contract. The contract terms are limited to one year and may be renewed for three additional one-year terms for a total term of four (4) years. There is no guarantee of the amount of work that will be authorized. Multiple contracts may be awarded. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
