Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Belleville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

All work on this contract shall be completed within One Hundred Twenty (120) calendar days. The Scope of work for this Contract includes, but is not limited to, concrete sidewalk, concrete driveway, curb ramps, detectable warning surfaces, curb, asphalt milling, asphalt paving, pavement striping, tree removal, tree planting, inlet repairs, installation of water mains, valves, hydrants, water service connections, sanitary sewer repairs and site restoration at various locations throughout the Township. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of the project is required. The award of the contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Township of Belleville in a lawful manner. The Township of Belleville or the Engineer reserves the right to require a complete financial and experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before furnishing proposal forms or specifications, or before awarding the Contract. Proposals for this Contract will be accepted only from bidders who are properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Township of Belleville, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Township of Belleville reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Township of Belleville which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, which include but are not limited to the affirmative action requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. Bidders will be required to comply with the public disclosure provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2.
