Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shelbyville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
he Shelby County Road Department and the Shelby County Fiscal Court are advertising for sealed bids for In Place Paver Patching on various roads throughout Shelby County. All bidders must be KDOT approved and must provide traffic control that meets the MUTCD. All bidders must have liability and workers comp insurance. All paving will include milling, keyways, tack oil, and rolling of all materials. The materials must meet all KDOT specifications at all times. The listing of roads and locations will be provided to the contractor, from the Shelby County Road Supervisor as needed. The average tonnage would be 1000 tons. This bid will cover the 2022- 2023 Fiscal Year. Only bid item is tons of asphalt surface.The contractor will notify local residents of work dates by signage and door flyers at least 24 hours before work is to begin. Bid may be approved and awarded at the July 05, 2022 Fiscal Court meeting held at 6:30p.m. Shelby County Fiscal Court reserves the right to accept the bid deemed by it to be in its best interest, not necessarily the lowest bid; the right to disqualify bids from bidders not deemed to be qualified; the right to disqualify bids deemed to be defective, and the right to waive defects in bids where such defects are not deemed significant. Shelby County Fiscal Court is an EEO Employer.
