This project will perform cost analysis studies for the installation of solar systems on 6 buildings in Rapid City and Pierre. To be eligible for state energy grants, an energy project must meet a 15 year payback. A report will be provided for each of the buildings detailing energy outputs, preliminary equipment layouts, and payback analysis. This project will be for only a study, no detailed design or construction. Firms desiring to be considered for providing professional services for this project should send a statement of interest that outlines qualifications and experience for this project. Statements of Interest should at a minimum include the following: 1. Specialized expertise, capabilities, and technical competence as demonstrated by the team's capabilities, proposed approach and methodology to meet the project requirements. Include number of commercial/government projects designed over 50kW. (15%) 2. Resources available to perform the work, including any specialized services, within the specified time limits for the project. Include resumes of all personnel, including sub-consultants who will be assigned to this project for the entire duration. List number of years each team member has been with your firm. (15%) 3. Record of past performance, including price and cost data from previous projects, quality of work, ability to meet schedules, cost control, and contract administration. Include real world payback documentation for 5 past projects which have been in operation for 3 years or more. Provide at least 3 references for past projects completed with an energy monitoring system in place. The reference should include contact information for the facility manager and details on the project. (40%) 4. Availability and Familiarity with project locale. (5%) 5.
