Renovation of a municipal facility in Cave Spring, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Roanoke County Administration Center HVAC Replacement replaces major HVAC components, improves systems for large meeting spaces with variable occupancy loads, and improves control over occupied spaces' temperatures. o Many of the HVAC components are original to the approximately 61,170 square foot facility, constructed in 1981. o The project is proposed to receive $1.5 million in funding in FY 2024. The project is included in the Roanoke County's FY 2023-2032 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of June 16, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
