Request for Proposals: Lead Hazard Control/remediation Contractors Community Affairs and Resource Center (Carc), a Grantee Under the Dca's Statewide Lead-safe Home Remediation Program, Is Seeking Responses From Qualified Contractors to Become Part of a "Qualified Contractor Pool" to Provide Either 1) Lead Remediation/mitigation or 2) Lead Abatement Services for the 2022-2023 Lead Safe Home Remediation Program Grant From the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (Dca). {note: Only Contractors on the Nj Certified Lead Abatement Contractor List Can Perform Abatements} Carc Intends to Prequalify Lead Hazard Control/remediation Contractors to Participate in a Contractor Pool of Up to Five (5) Contractors. The Purpose of the Program Is to Identify and Remediate Lead-based Paint Hazards to Prevent Elevated Blood Lead Levels in Children and Pregnant Women. The Program Targets the Counties of Middlesex, Monmouth and Atlantic. Lead Remediation Jobs Will Be Assigned Based on the Most Favorable Mini Bid From a Contractor in the Selected Pool, as Well as Availability. We Are Seeking Contractors That Perform Lead Hazard Remediation Services in the Counties of Middlesex, Monmouth and Atlantic. Minority and Woman-owned Businesses Are Encouraged to Apply.
