The firm selected will develop the updated All-Hazards Mitigation Plan. The update will include reviewing identified hazards, updating the hazard mitigation goals, identifying existing projects entities are doing or planning to address hazards, identifying updated mitigation options, updating the plan to meet FEMA standards and secure FEMA approval and meeting with participating villages and cities -to include the Community Rating System (CRS). A more detailed project description is available upon request. Proposals should include the firm s past experience in Hazard Mitigation Plan-ning and similar efforts, the firm s approach to the planning effort and a description of how they intend to update the plan and secure support of participating entities if their firm is selected. A scope of services should be provided. Proposals should describe the components of the scope of services and tasks to be completed by both the firm and local .sponsors including EMs, NRD and direct and indirect partici-pants,, what flexibility the firm. will have working with the project, and how the firm intends to assure the plan is thorough and completed The proposal should also include the anticipated cost, cost breakdown and time-line for the services offered. It should also address any other strategies, activities and goals .planned to obtain an acceptable Updated All-Hazards Mitigation Plan in your proposal. The NRD may select a firm from the proposals submitted or may request additional information from a firm or firms. No bids shall be withdrawn after open-ing the bids without consent of the Tri-Basin NRD for a period of thirty days after the scheduled time for closing bids. Td-Basin NRD reserves the right to reject any or all bids ,and tp waiw any_formalities in bidding. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
