Site work for a transportation facility in Tupelo, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.

The work is generally described as follows: The "Work" of this Contract is to include, but is not limited to, providing all labor and materials for the RUNWAY 18/36 RE-STRIPING project at Tupelo Regional Airport. The scope of work generally consists of, but is not limited to: Typical paint removal, requiring partial removal, cleaning, and precluding any damage to the underlying pavement surface by means of water blasting, Runway 18-36 restriping & taxiway lead-in centerline striping. Project includes roughly 103,700 square feet of reflective pavement markings with Type III glass beads and roughly 21,500 square feet of non-reflective pavement marking. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi Law and show a current Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi Board of Public Contractors establishing classification as to the value and type of construction work on which he is authorized to bid. Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal and must include a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid. The suc- cessful bidder will be required to execute the standard form of Con- tract and Agreement, together with a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond, within 5 days after formal award of the contract. Each Bidder's attention is called to Section 31 -3-21 of the Missis- sippi Code of 1972, as amended. Mississippi has a reciprocal prefer- ence law. It requires that a copy of any non-resident bidder's current state law pertaining to its treat- ment of non -resident contractors be submitted at the time the bid is submitted, or that bid shall not be considered further. Any preference an out of state bidder would have in his home state shall be applied in a reciprocal manner. The bidder shall guarantee to hold his bid good and may not withdraw his bid for a period of 90 calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The award, if made, will be made to the party submitting the bid deemed most favorable to the TUPELO AIRPORT AUTHORITY at the time the conditions are stipulated. The TUPELO AIRPORT AUTHORITY reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
