The McAllen Public Utility (MPU) is soliciting electronic bids for a Supply Contract for the Purchase and Delivery of Water Products. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 6/21/2022 5:00 PM The McAllen Public Utility reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all Bids and to waive any or all formalities or technicalities, or to accept the bid considered the best value to the City/MPU, and to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days without taking action. Bidders are advised that for purposes of this project, the McAllen Public Utility intends to award a Supply Contract for an initial contract term of one (1) year ("Initial Contract Term"). The McAllen Public Utility reserves the unilateral right to extend the contract for an additional two (2) years in one (1) year increments if the performance of the successful contractor is satisfactory. The Initial Contract Term and extensions, collectively, shall be the "Contract Term". Successful Bidder(s) shall be expected to hold their bid prices firm for the duration of the contract term.
