Renovation of a mixed-use development in Springfield, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

1. Properly completed Proposal Form in duplicate. 2. Bid Deposit in the amount of 10% of Bid. 3. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor pursuant to Illinois Revised Statutes, Ch. 489, Sec. 39s-1 et. seq. 4. Information for minority owned businesses which will perform at least a percentage of the work specified in the project and the proposal dollar value of the work. Generally, the work includes installation of security cameras, door stations and wiring. Software and server for security cameras are not included in the contract and are to be provided by the owner. Installation is to commence upon notice of award and be complete by August 12, 2022. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 10% of Bid, made payable to the Springfield School District #186. Failure of Bidders to submit bid bond or cashier's check in the amount of 10% of the bid shall be cause for rejection of bid. Successful Bidder will be required to provide Surety Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the Contract cost on prescribed forms within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance is issued by Owner. Surety on bond shall be by a duly authorized U. S. Treasury Backed company licensed to do business in the State of Illinois, acceptable to Owner. Bidders are required to be signatory to the Project Labor Agreement (PLA) between the Springfield School The Board of Education for Springfield School District #186 reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserves the right to waive any irregularity in bidding, which in their considered opinion is warranted. No bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening of bids without written consent of the Owner.
