Renovation of a power facility in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
Omaha Public Power District (OPPD or District) is soliciting proposals to purchase replacement baskets and seals for installation in two existing Ljungstrom Air Preheaters (Size 33.0-VI-84, LAP-4421, S/N's 7630 & 7631) at the OPPD Nebraska City Station Unit 2. The Contractor shall provide the design, materials, manufacturing, fabrication, delivery (F.O.B. Destination, OPPD Nebraska City Power Plant - freight prepaid), and drawings, manuals, documentation, and technical support for the specified equipment. The Contractor shall provide equipment which is complete, operable and meet or exceed the design and performance criteria specified in the Technical Specifications. The materials and workmanship used in the construction of all equipmentshall be new and of premium quality for the service intended, and shall be free of all defects which affect performance or service life of the equipment or which cause unsightly appearance. OPPD shall have the right to reject all materials and workmanship not conforming to the Contract Documents. Any defective material found shall be promptly replaced or corrected by the respondent, at its own expense, to the satisfaction of OPPD within fifteen (15) days of written notification of the defect
