Site work and new construction of an office development in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a office development; and for site work for a office development.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the project is a 1-story office building structure with a basement used mainly for storage. The 1st floor will be primarily utilized as office space, meeting rooms, instructional rooms with a receptionist area for daily customer interaction. The building will be constructed with architecture that will be visually appealing to the public. The site will support a large parking area with the balance being in grass and wildlife habitat as applicable. A second building will have a combination of usage including storage, garage, game check station and sample harvesting. The Department of General Services Public Works and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals. Applicants now must agree to meet the SDB and VBE Participation Goals in full or demonstrate that they have made Good Faith Efforts to meet the Goals. Refer to the project e-builder solicitation folder for instructions regarding Small Diverse Business and Veteran Business Enterprise participation. The Goals for SDB participation: 11% The Goals for VBE participation: 3% ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS OF SHORT-LISTED FIRMS Interviews will be conducted with all short-listed firms. The short-listed professionals will be notified as to the date, time and location of the interviews. A "Detailed Proposal" will be requested from short-listed firms for this project. The following information will need to be provided: detailed resumes for key design and management personnel with references; the firm's approach to the project, including descriptions of tasks and scope of services, and an explanation of how the approach provides value to the Commonwealth; an organizational chart and detailed work plan, identifying key personnel roles and percent of time assigned to the project; an explanation of how the firm assures high quality bidding documents; examples of relevant projects completed by the lead design professional and key personnel, with contact information for references for these projects; an assessment of key project issues and risks to the project; identification of special investigations, studies or testing that may be required; a description of how diversity will be accomplished within the team; evidence of financial capability; a list of professional liability claims and/or legal actions within the last ten years and a non-binding fee proposal. As of May 4, 2023, an issuance of short-listed firms has not been identified. The design firm selection timeline has not been disclosed.
