As of August 22, 2022, project was awarded to Cinch Underground, Inc., awarded amount is $433,119.12. The Town of Alford Water System Improvements Project will consist of, but not be limited to 5,300 LF of new 10-inch waterline, valves, hydrants, and other appurtenant components necessary for installation of the water main along Park Ave. The watermain interconnection will connect well sites (#2 & #4). The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable according to the Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facilities, Section 109 Executive Order 11246, Davis Bacon Act and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Florida, and bonding and insurance requirements.
