Renovation of a municipal facility in McAllen, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) is accepting proposals to furnish all labor, materials, insurance, equipment, and supervision required for the replacement of the existing roof top HVAC units (RTUs), associated mechanical components and controls, and the replacement of existing roof with a new "cool roof" as detailed in the project construction documents Submit questions using Attachment #6- Respondent Questions & Answers Template, no later than June 30, 2022, at 5:00 PM CT TWC will post all Questions & Answers and, if appropriate, an Amended RFP to the Electronic State Business Daily (ESBD) by July 15, 2022, at 5:00 PM CT. REFER INQUIRIES TO: TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION Fred Warner, CTPM E-Mail: VendorProposals@TWC.TEXAS.GOV A Bid Bond must be submitted for each and all bids over $25,000.00 in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the contract being bid, including alternates. In addition, Contractor must tender to TWC, before a Purchase Order is issued, Payment and Performance Bonds in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2253 as required below, in form and substance satisfactory to TWC. TWC reserves the right to reject a bid in which there is a material failure to comply with specification requirements. TWC may reject all bids or parts of bids if the rejection serves the State's best interest.
