Renovation of a military facility in Warsaw, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

This Request for Quote (RFQ) is for the Removal and Replacement of existing Operations Building/Pow erhouse and Attached Bay Roofs at Markland Locks and Dam, Warsaw , Kentucky. The estimated construction cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. NAICS Code 238160 - Roofing Contractors, size determination $16.5 million This project is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. One firm-fixed price construction contract w ill be aw arded based on the low est priced quote. Block 12A Below : In lieu of both Performance and Payment Bonds, per FAR 52.228-13 Alternate Payment Protections (2000) and FAR 28.102-1(b), only a Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit is required. A Performance Bond is not required. The contractor will furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to remove and replace existing Operations Building/Powerhouse and attached bay roofs at Markland Locks & Dam located at 2760 US 42 West, Warsaw, Kentucky 41095. The contractor's work and responsibility will include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work will be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein. Contractor shall be National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) certified. Work will begin within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 60 calendar days after the NTP. One award will be made from this Solicitation. Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the Contractor. Payment bonding or ILC is required for this procurement action. Note: The contract award will be based on Lowest Priced Quote. The solicitation will be available on the web only. Faxed, telephoned, or mailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Please note that the site visit is not an opportunity for questions or clarifications regarding this solicitation. Unresponsive Quote: Failure to provide all information requested within this solicitation and to complete SAM registration before submittal may be grounds for considering the quote unresponsive. Site Visit: One site visit will be available for contractors on Tuesday, 28 June 2022 at 09:30 am EST.
