Renovation of a municipal facility in Aklavik, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Yellowknife is seeking experienced and qualified Audio/Visual (AV) professionals to submit detailed proposals for the supply, installation, and maintenance of a replacement AV system for the City of Yellowknifes Council Chamber. The Council Chamber is a multi-purpose room that is used for Committee and Council meetings, presentations, panel discussions, hosting of dignitaries, appeal hearing proceedings, staff meetings, safety training, courtroom like proceedings and press conferences. Participants may be in-person or attend virtually and the proceedings may or may not be webcast. The Council Chamber is an irregular shaped room (see Annex A) that houses both fixed (Council dais and Clerks desk) and movable furniture (podium, seating and tables) that the AV system must accommodate.
