Site work and paving for a road / highway in Robinson, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Robinson, IL is accepting bids for the labor and materials necessary to resurface various streets. Work to include Hot Mix Asphalt Removal 2", Resurfacing with 0.75" of Leveling Binder and 1.25" Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Course and other incidental work. Questions concerning the bid specifications should be directed to Jeffrey D. Hillard, P.E., City Engineer, 208 E. Poplar St., Robinson, IL 62454. Telephone: (618) 544-4950. The conditions of employment to be observed and the minimum wages to be paid are subject to the provisions of the Illinois Statutes and Resolutions of the City of Robinson. Contractors are required to sign an Indemnification Agreement to hold the City harmless, be insured for at least $1,000,000 and provide a certificate naming the City as an additional insured on their insurance policy. The City of Robinson reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive formalities.
