Site work for a water / sewer project in Levittown, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted and to waive any informality, and shall, further make awards in any ways it deems advisable to the best interest of the School District. The successful bidder shall execute a formal contract to be prepared by the Attorney for the School District, if the Board of Education so requires. All proposals received after the time stated in the Request for Proposal will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by employees of the School District. Whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the bidder assumes responsibility for having his proposal deposited on time at the place specified. Proposals must be in a SEALED ENVELOPE clearly marked on the outside "Installation of Irrigation Wells & Pumps - RFP # 673.022.013", and the envelope must bear on the outside the name, and complete address of the bidder. Each Bidder shall agree to hold his/her proposal price for sixty (60) days after the formal Request for Proposal opening. The District request proposals for installation ofirrigation wells and pumps at Locations 1 & 2. In addition, we are requesting an hourly labor rate for maintenance and repair of all wells and pumps as described on page 2. We require three (3) separate proposals, one each for location, 1 & 2, and a separate proposal for the maintenance and repair of all wells and pumps.
