Site work for a water / sewer project in Austin, Texas. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Austin is rejecting all bids for the above-referenced solicitation. The City plans to make changes to this solicitation and re-bid in the future. Built in 2003 and inspected in 2017, the tank has significant corrosion and coating issues. The typical lifespan of coatings on the interior and exterior of tanks is around 15 years, so the current coatings have reached the end of their lifecycle. Reclaimed water valve vaults adjacent to the tank will also have coatings and safety improvements made, including lighting improvements, ladder safety systems installed, hatch safety grating installed. Additional needed improvements include: Site Lighting, Grounding, I&C and Cathodic Protection Improvements, Yard Piping and Valve Improvements, including Installation in New Concrete Valve Vault, Coating Improvements, Improvements to tank to Comply with Austin Water Standards, including Safety Improvements
