Renovation of a mixed-use development in Memphis, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The improvement of Raleigh Egypt HS Stadium scope of work includes, but not limited to upgrades and modifications to the existing facility to make the stadium complex meet current TSSAA criteria and provide a safe, ADA compliant environment for athletes and spectators. Once the Bid has been published, all communication regarding this project must be directed to Procurement Services. All questions or requests for clarification of technical issues and terms pertaining to this Bid must be emailed to LaQueeya Braxton, braxtonl@scsk12.org and LaJuanna Jones-Sulton, jonessultonlm@scsk12.org by 2:00 PM/CST on September 7, 2022. Subject line of email shall read Questions IFB #09122022ELB Raleigh Egypt HS Stadium Improvements. Questions must specifically reference the section of the Bid to which the question pertains. In order to prevent an unfair advantage to any respondent, all questions and answers will be posted as an addendum/Q&A on Procurements website on September 8, 2022 by 4:00PM. The anticipated terms of this contract shall be (1) year(s). The work shall begin after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated start time is 11/01/2022. Substantial completion date is projected at 03/30/2023. Final completion date is projected at 04/28/2023. SCBE has set a Minority or Woman-owned Business Enterprises goal of 7.9% for this project, the Bidder shall take affirmative action to ensure that minority-owned and women-owned businesses, which have been certified by the City of Memphis, Shelby County Government and/or Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, are utilized when possible as sources of supplies, equipment, construction and services for Shelby County Schools. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total estimated contract amount for each individual school location, as determined by SCBE and specified in the IFB, to ensure the satisfactory completion of the work for which a contract or purchase order is awarded that may exceed $100K. Should the Bidder withdraw their bid response without entering into a contract the Bid Bond may be forfeited in whole or in part. B. PERFORMANCE AND LABOR BOND: The successful Bidder(s) will be required to submit a performance and/or labor bond, Cashiers or Certified Check in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total estimated contract amount for each individual school location, as determined by SCBE and specified in the IFB, to ensure the satisfactory completion of the work for which a contract or purchase order is awarded that exceeds $100K The Scope of Work for the stadium improvements shall include and not be limited to the following: Upgrades and modifications to the existing facility to make the stadium complex meet current TSSAA criteria and provide a safe, ADA compliant environment for athletes and spectators. Stadium improvements to include the following: 1. Repaint entry signage 2. Install new double swing gate at entry 3. Repair/patch fence and gates around perimeter of track 4. Trash removal and cleanup 5. Repaint interior and exterior of out building 6. Repave and stripe parking lot and driveway 7. Replace exterior stadium lighting with LED lighting 8. Add 3 light poles on west side of parking lot and 1 light pole at entrance 9. Install new scoreboard
