Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking qualified Respondents to provide comprehensive compensation study services for the State Parks Division. The State Parks Division employs approximately 1,300 full-time equivalent staff members in approximately 125 job classifications ranging from entry-level to executive leadership positions. The division is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits to address challenging recruitment and retention issues in response to feedback received through the Survey of Employee Engagement conducted every two years and as expressed to division leadership. Communities continue to grow closer to the areas where our facilities are located and the competition for qualified applicants is at an all-time high. As such, the division seeks to obtain labor data for similar park operations and structures on the municipal, county, state, and national levels, as well as for entry-level positions by geographical area across the state. The contract shall commence on Date of Award and continue through October 31, 2022, unless sooner terminated under the terms of the contract. All reimbursable services must be completed by August 31, 2022, the final report must be received no later than October 31, 2022. TPWD will not pay for expenses incurred after August 31, 2022. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
