Volusia County is soliciting bids for elevator modernization at the Volusia County Historic Courthouse located at 125 W New York Ave, Deland Florida. The project consists of two (2) elevators that are intended to be overhauled to meet new code requirements. The awarded vendor shall be responsible to provide all necessary labor and materials to complete the work as requested. Project costs shall be inclusive of Preventative Maintenance, Service, testing and part replacement for the 12-month warranty period following final acceptance of the modernization in accordance with the Portfolio Master Elevator Service Agreement. A Bid bond shall accompany each Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid amount and shall be valid for a period not less than one hundred twenty (120) days. If a Bid bond is used, the Bidder shall complete and submit the Bid bond form provided in this solicitation. After the County and the successful bidder have executed a written Contract and the successful bidder has recorded an acceptable Payment and Performance Bond or if one hundred twenty (120) days have passed after the date of the formal opening of the Bids and no Contract has been awarded, the Bid security of any Bidder will be returned upon written demand.
