This is a design / build project of a maintenance crew facility to replace the existing structure. The BNSF Railway (BNSF) invites you to submit a bid to complete the design, obtain permits and furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals along with all the related and miscellaneous work required to construct the proposed Hostler Maintenance Crew Facility located in the Midway Yard in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The bidding Contractor shall be responsible for the scope of work as defined in the project drawings and project manual. In accordance with the latest corporate requirements, all persons not employed by BNSF Railway shall have completed an online safety orientation program to be allowed on the property. The orientation can be found on the internet at http://bnsfcontractor.com. The contractor is fully responsible for all safety issues within the construction area. To demonstrate qualifications for the Project, each Bidder must be prepared to submit within five days of BNSFs request, written evidence of previous work experience pertinent to the type of work described in the Project Plans and Specifications, present commitments, and other such data as may be requested. All Bidders shall submit resumes for Project Management Staff with their Bid. Each Bid must contain evidence of Bidders qualifications to do business in the state of Minnesota or covenant to obtain such qualification prior to award of the Contract. Bidders shall also submit a workmans compensation safety index with their Bid.
