All questions shall be emailed to Simone Cristofori at cristoforis@amherstma.gov. Custodial services at various recreation buildings in the Town of Amherst. Facilities consist of several public restrooms and two DPW facilities, all located within the Town. Park restrooms are open seasonally, April through early November (depending on weather) to the public, recreational camps, and recreational sports teams. Cleaning schedule will vary depending on season and usage. One contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest weekly price for all facilities. Contract shall be for one year with up to two optional one-year extensions. The Town of Amherst reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, and to waive informalities, when at its sole discretion is deemed to be in the best interests of the Town and to the extent permitted by law. The contract will be awarded within 30 days after the bid opening unless the time for award is extended by mutual consent of the parties.
