Single designbuild team qualifications, experience, and pricing to provide such services for the future potential task order design and construction management services for a potential multi-year term contract related to the ongoing maintenance, repair, preservation and improvements to the Michigan State Capitol and grounds. All communication and correspondence during the response period is to be directed solely to the Michigan State Capitol Commission via Rob Blackshaw, Executive Director for the term contract. No preproposal meeting is scheduled for this RFP. Respondent questions shall be submitted electronically in writing to rblackshaw@legislature.mi.gov by 3 pm EDT on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Following the receipt and internal review of RFP responses, a select number of Respondents may be invited to present their qualifications and work plan in more detail to members or staff of the Michigan State Capitol Commission. Respondents are required to submit the identification of specific in-house expertise and personnel, as well as any supplemental Design Professional team members recommended under this term contract as an indicator of your approach and the comprehensiveness of your experience and fit for this type of project. Further required information is noted in Parts 1 and 2 below. Interviews are anticipated, though the Commission reserves the right to make a selection without interviewing design-build teams. The cost of preparing your proposal is the sole responsibility of the Respondent and all proposals submitted shall become the property of the Michigan State Capitol Commission. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
