**As of August 09,2022, project was awarded to RECON Construction Services, Inc, awarded amount is $202,961.60.** Bids will be considered for recommendation of award at the Borough Council meeting scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the second-floor Council Chambers of Borough Hall. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Borough of Waynesboro, or negotiable U.S. Govern-ment Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. This project is partially funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development (DCED), Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) and the Multimodal Transportation Fund Grant. Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wages shall apply to this contract. The Contract Documents contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates, labor standards, non-discrimination in hiring practices, goals for minority and female participation, MBE, DBE and WBE participation, participation by Section 3 residents and businesses, and related matters. The Borough of Waynesboro (owner) reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not-to-ex-ceed thirty (30) days from the date of opening bids, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract.
