The Alabama State Port Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Contract Period: Establish a 12 Month Agreement With an Option to Issue a Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth 12 Month Agreement With the Same Pricing, Terms and Conditions. The Second, Third, Fourth, or Fifth Agreement, if Agreed by Both Parties, Would Begin the Day After the First, Second, Third, or Fourth Agreement Expires. Any Successive Agreement Must Have Written Approval of Both the State and Vendor. Vendor must be able to hot vulcanize lagging on conveyor pulleys ranging in diameters from 24" to 54" and lengths ranging from 48" to 105". o Vendor must be able to pick up, lag and return pulleys to ASPA within 15 business days. o Emergency request must be picked up, lagged and returned within 5 calendar days. Expedite fee will be applied. o Pickup and delivery drivers MUST have ASPA Credentials. o ASPA will load and unload the pulleys at McDuffie Coal Terminal. It is the vendors responsibility to properly secure each pulley before traveling. Any damage that occurs to the pulleys in transit or at the lagging facility must be repaired or replaced at the vendors expense. o All pulleys lagged must be labeled with company name and date of service. o Bidders must provide a minimum of 3 references documenting satisfactory work in lagging pulleys ranging in diameters up to 54" and lengths up to 105". o Must follow all ASPA safety policies and procedures. All offenses will be documented, and repeat offences will be grounds for termination. o Upon award of contract a point of contact will established for both ASPA and the awarded vendor. Hot Vulcanized Rubber Lagging 1" thick Diamond Groove baked on SBR lagging. 60 Durometer. 1/4" x 1/4" channel with 3" center to center diamonds. Hot Vulcanized Ceramic Lagging 5/8" thick Ceramic with 1/8" base rubber making total lagging 3/4" thick.
