**As of August 31,2022, project was awarded to Jensen Rock & Sand Inc, awarded amount is $173,191.50.** Bids are to be submitted using three-quarter inch hot mix paver laid and compacted. Bids are to include priming streets that are gravel base before paving. Bidder shall indicate total quantity (tons), unit price and total dollar amount. Contact City Hall for more information. A deposit (certified or cashiers check) in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the total bid or a bid bond equal to ten (10) percent of the total bid is required to accompany each bid submitted (SDCL 5-18B-2). Proof of insurance must also be provided. The City requires the work to be completed by October 1, 2022. Each bid must be plainly marked on the envelope: Bid for Street Overlay. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
