As of July 18, 2022 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 28, 2022. For Aliquippa School Bleacher Demolition - 2021 Year Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Bidders are requested to make an appointment with Dr. Phillip Woods, Aliquippa School District Superintendent, (724) 857-7500 ext. 1100 or pwoods@quipsd.org, to acquaint themselves with the scope of the project. Bids must be submitted on prescribed forms, complete with instructions provided herewith. Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security, as a Certified or Cashiers Check, or original Corporate Surety Bid Bond with original Power of Attorney, in the amount of 10% of the Bid Proposal, made in favor of the County of Beaver, Pennsylvania. Facsimiles will not be accepted. MBE, WBE and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to apply. Standard contract provisions of the Department of HUD Act of 1968 as amended and US Department of Labor for CDBG apply to this project, including Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, Civil Rights, EEO, Federal Public Works, Affirmative Action, Section 3 Requirements, and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, EO 11246, 11625 together with all Standard Provisions of CDBG Programs. The County of Beaver, Pennsylvania reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to award Contracts in its best interest.
