The Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids and award the Contract in any manner to be of the best value to the County of Ottawa. If there are questions about the specifications or bid process, please call Ken Hildebrand, Operations Superintendent, at (616) 850-7223 It is the intent of the Ottawa County Road Commission (OCRC), on behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation, to contract maintenance activities for the weed whipping portion of the Holland Beautification Contract: US-31 New Holland N. Turnback South to the Business Loop Viaduct (Holland Township) N. Side of Business Loop Viaduct South to W. 32nd Street (City of Holland) BL-196 104th Avenue West to Waverly Rd. (120th Ave.) (Holland Township) Waverly Rd. (120th Ave.) to 8th Street (City of Holland) The term of the resulting contract will be for 156 weeks and will commence with the execution of the contract by both parties. The ESTIMATED contract period shall be from July 1, 2022 through July 1, 2025 (156 weeks). Weed whipping will need to occur within 2 weeks of award of contract.
