The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority (MTA) is requesting services for the purpose of renovation and expansion of its current dispatch office. The dispatch office is in MTAs transfer center at the Terminal Station building at 200 Cherry Street Macon, Georgia 31201. Bidders must be independent contractors and will not be within protection or coverage of MTAs Workers Compensation Insurance, and no withholding of Social Security, Federal, or State Income Tax. You must be Licensed and Bonded, provide a Certificate of Workmans Compensation, and W-9 documents. Bidders must provide own equipment. The Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority wishes to expand the current office. Vendors wishing to bid on this project should request a "Bid Specification/ Scope of Work Package. Everything required to bid on this project will be included. There will be a checklist of all documents that MUST accompany each Vendors Bid Package to be a valid submission and considered for this project. It is the policy of the Macon-Bibb County Transit Authority that no person or business shall be excluded from participation, denied benefits of, otherwise discriminated against in relation to the award and performance of any contract or sub-contract on the grounds of race, color, creed, national origin, age, or sex.
