Site work for a water / sewer project in Onancock, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of August 5, 2022, project was awarded to Murtech Inc, but awarded amount is not available.** The full Request for Proposal is available via email or is available at the Town Hall during normal business hours. Detailed instructions and requirements are included in the bid package. Work shall begin no earlier than October 1, 2022. and shall be completed by February 1, 2023. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the re-ceipt of bids for a period of 60-days except as expressly provided for and outlined under the Code of Virginia. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids when such rejection is in the interest of the Town and to reject the bid or bidder who is not able to perform the contract. The Town also reserves the right to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of any formalities in the submission of any bid. A pre-bid meeting will be scheduled with interested bidders. Work shall include installation of 143 +/- linearfeet ofnew vinyl bulkhead with trenchless drilled anchor system installed immediately adjacent to existing bulkheads. All work is detailed in the bidpackage, and as shown on the drawings prepared by J.W. Salm Engineering, Inc., titled "Onancock WharfBulkhead" dated Sept. 2021.
