Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Halfmoon, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project work sites are located on Button Road and Lower Newtown Road in the Town of Halfmoon, New York. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including but not necessarily limited to the following: -- Construction of a 1,000,000-gallon elevated water storage tank and associated appurtenances including miscellaneous site work, grading, concrete foundation, foundation piles, tank erection, tank coating and disinfection, piping, altitude valve vault, fencing, paved access road and parking area, and erosion and sediment control measures. -- Open-cut installation of approximately 670 linear feet of 10-inch high density polyethylene water main to connect the proposed water storage tank to the existing water distribution system, including all associated piping, fittings, hydrants, valves, and the hydrostatic testing and disinfection of the water main. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to the Town of Halfmoon an executed performance and completion bond in a form meeting the Town's approval, in an amount not less than 100% of the accepted bid as security for the faithful performance and completion of this contract, and also a separate bond guaranteeing prompt payment of monies due to all persons supplying the contractors or subcontractors with labor and materials employed and used in carrying out the contract, and having as surety on the bonds such surety companies as are approved or acceptable to the Town of Halfmoon. The Town of Halfmoon reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
