The purpose of this Request for Proposal ("RFP") is to invite qualified bidders to prepare and submit proposals to provide Dry Dock Services for Shipyard Overhaul for the R/V Roger Revelle to the Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO) at the University of California, San Diego ("UC San Diego" or University"), in accordance with the requirements set forth in this RFP and the University of California General Conditions for Ship Repair and Overhaul Specifications The overall objective of this RFP is to select a shipyard that can provide the best overall service and cost to the University and fulfill the requirements on a timely basis. Bidder agrees to make available the services to SIO at the UC San Diego Nimitz Marine Facility (marfac) upon the terms, conditions, and pricing set forth in an agreement awarded in response to Bidder's proposal.
