SCOPE OF WORK STATEMENT OF WORK ROSEVILLE, OHIO LOCAL PROTECTION PROJECT ( LPP) Moxahala Creek Dredging & Disposal May 1, 2022 The general description of the work is to furnish all materials, equipment, labor, layouts of work features, and supervision needed to dredge and dispose of sediment deposition, drift, and debris material from Moxahala Creek near Roseville, Ohio to prevent the erosion of the creek bank. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, plant, equipment, transportation, per diem, and materials necessary to dredge and dispose of the sediment deposition, drift, and debris material. Project Construction Tasks: The Contractor shall excavate and dispose of sediment build up and debris from Moxahala Creek near Roseville, Ohio. Material removal shall be done in the immediate vicinities as described below and provided in the attached photos. Contractor shall execute this scope of work in accordance with the options shown below. Access to the sandbars will be provided, however if the Contractor wants different access points, it is up to the Contractor to obtain permission from the landowner. Contractor shall dredge the existing sandbars and debris taking them down to the water's edge. The dredged material shall be scooped and placed directly into a truck. This estimated volume of dredged material and location(s) is subject to revision following a proposed site visit and consultation with all involved parties. Option # 1: East side of levee near vehicle bridge. Approximately 500 cubic yards of material shall be dredged. Debris shall be removed as well with the priority set on the sediment islands (see pictures). Option #2: North side of the levee near train trestle bridge. Approximately 750 cubic yards of material shall be dredged. Some debris in the area may warrant removal as well (see pictures). Option #3: South side of the levee to the west of the vehicle bridge. Approximately 415 cubic yards of materials shall be dredged. Slight debris in the area shall also be removed.
