As of December 19, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Bids will be received for the following Work: a. Replacement of the existing roof system. T he H enry County School System requires a copy of your Affidavit and Certified Application, for The Tennessee Drug Free Workplace Program to be placed in a separate envelope and attached to the o ut- side of the envelope containing your bid. The Bid envelope will not be opened unless the separate enve- lope contains your completed and signed affidavit, and certified application, (NO EXCEPTIONS A LLOWED). Refer to Specif i cation Section 00 45 00 - Drug Free Workplace Affidavit form A certified check or bank draft, payable to Hardin County School System , U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sur eties in a n amount equal to five (5) per- cent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 9 0 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under t he laws gove rning their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond, bonds or insurance surety . Henry County School System reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding whenever such rejection or waiver is in the interest of the Owner. Examination of Site: Bidders shall visit the site of the project, and the Contractor shall be assumed to have visited the premises and to have allowed for all conditions that might affect his work. No consideration will be given any claim based on lack of knowledge of existing conditions.
